Top Three Major of Choice
First of all I want to major in :
Sculpture
Glass
Furniture Design (MFA)
So I went to the find arts building on W. Broad St.
Sculpture department is on the first floor of the art building. I couldn't go inside and take pictures, because they were having class. I took Sculpture+extended media project class last semester, so I had a really nice tour of this building. they have a huge wood shop and working place in the back of the class, quite impressive. Hopefully I can get into sculpture major and experience everything.
Craft/Material Department was on the second floor!
They have a lot of fun stuff on the second floor.
These two pictures are where students studies furniture design. They don't have their own department because nfortunately, furniture design is not an undergraduate program, it's one of the master's degree programs in VCUarts.
Also, on the first floor, they had a small art gallery called wearable sculptures if anyone wants to go check out. It was pretty interesting.
